"Prime Example"
Sometimes, a franchise has to admit when it's had its time in the sun and needs to just be over. You can't return to the good old days with Bond because it's already all been done. You can't morph it into something that will appeal to modern audiences because they don't exist and/or just don't care anymore because there are 8 trillion other distractions in modern life like TikTok and Twitch and Youtube et al.
The old catalogue will always be there if we want that "Bond" feel, but as much as I like those films, I personally feel this franchise is at a logical ending point.

So, imagine how thrilled and excited I was to hear Amazon are taking over the franchise! I mean, you'll HAVE to imagine it. James Bond television shows, Moneypenny spin-offs? Jesus... who cares?! They've even stated that the way Disney have approached Star Wars is what they are look to as POSITIVE affirmation to do it!
Amazon are beyond help at this point. Bond is dead, literally and figuratively.
Diamonds are Forever, Bond is not.
I'm out.
