"Poor People Need Not Apply"
Nvidia continue to show their animosity towards gamers with the new 5000 series GPU's, all priced well beyond reason and well past the reach of a normal person's wallet.

Having stopped production of the 4000 series and the 5000 series being subject to FOMO levels of manufacturing, gamers who enjoy their hobby who just wanted to enjoy upgrading, now are forced to either remortgage their homes or carve out body parts to sell on Craigs List.
With second-hand cards being often too much of a risk, the average gamer has been left out in the cold. AMD and Intel are too far behind to put up much of a fight, leaving Nvidia with an unchecked monopoly in the graphics card sphere.
With the best of luck, people will simply say "no" to this obvious price-gouging and continue to use what they currently have for as long as possible. Me? I plan to just ignore new games and work through my back catalogue instead.
So, where possible, say "no" to Nvidia, find other options as hitting their wallet is truly the only way to send a message to these types. And if worst comes to worst, gaming isn't essential, just find something else to do.
